Job Description: Teach For Afghanistan Organization is looking for qualified candidate to work as a Fundraising head who will identify and raise fund from different sources and donor organizations, individuals, public and private sectors from within and outside Afghanistan. Following are the major tasks and responsibility of the candidate selected for this position who will be reporting to the CEO directly. Major Tasks and Responsibilities: Responsible for meeting TAO’s funding targets and design and implementation of fundraising strategy, policies and procedures Strengthen the relationship with TAO donors and creation of strong relationship with new donors and funding organizations/relevant stakeholders. Search understand and develop proposals for RFPs, RFQs for any sector required, conduct fundraising events and oversee and follow up event outputs Conduct research and surveys for designing a project requested in an RFP/RFQ, estimate budgets, designed deliverables/milestones and negotiate regularly with donor organizations Oversee the design and implementation of TAO fundraising appeals and campaigns, and pilot our regular giving program; Participate in the senior management team, liaising with other managers and contribute to the development and implementation of organizational policies, practices and procedures, ensuring staff coordination and workflow; Analyze and present all financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements; collate financial reporting materials for all donor segments, and oversee all financial, project/program and grants accounting. Develop funding requirements for our third year of operation and program expansion, and secure funding through Cultivating meetings with our current champions and new donors. Establish & cultivate relationships with TAO current champions, new potential donors and identify new champions for TAO Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and establish an Internal Audit check system of all departments’ financial related documents. Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the TAO CEO; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep senior leadership team abreast of the organization’s financial status. Maintain regular bank reconciliation to ensure that the organization's records (check register, general ledger account, balance sheet, etc.) are correct and that the bank's records are also correct. Manage the Fundraising and Development Team and hold responsibility for team budget including financial reporting for the team, staff development and the implementation of the fundraising strategy; Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO.
