Job Description:

The provincial officers will have two major assignments as under:

Coordination and facilitation of Birth Registration(BR) with all direct and indirect stakeholders
Coordination and facilitation of Child Protection Action Plan (CPAN) with direct and indirect stakeholders.

There are two direct line departments that the provincial officers will be closely interacting with and we call them direct stakeholders (counterpart)

Provincial  Department of Census

Provincial Department of Labor and Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled

Each of the above department has their associated stakeholders where the program requires to be coordinated. We call them indirect stakeholders.

The provincial officers will mainly have the following responsibilities:

  • Work with all related departments and stakeholder to communicate key performance indicators, action plan and activities to be delivered within the specific timeframe.
  • Work with direct stakeholders to prepare financial plan, assess list of expenses, timeline for conduction of workshop, meeting and events.
  • Attend regularly the CPAN and BR  and ensure adequate facilitation of meeting agendas, minutes and reports prepared;
  • Coordinate the logistics including refreshment required for effective conduction of workshop and capacity building session for both programs.
  • Assist the departments on participant’s coordination, preparation of invitation of workshop, awareness session and meetings.
  • Held meeting with district authorities and communities on coordination and arrangements of community mobilization initiatives and awareness in regard to the programs.
  • Attend workshop, awareness session, and gathering in regard to the program and ensure the quality events. This include filling pre and post event evaluation and assessment.
  • Prepare timely performance and finical reports on activities delivered.

  • University education    
  • Previous working experience on coordination
  • Working experience with the government department;
  • Knowledge of MS Office Package and internet browsing (email)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of personal ethics.
