Job Description: Job Summary: The position is responsible and accountable effective program implementation, in the specific projects budget utilization, planning, with integration of other themes in Economic Inclusion (EI) programming at the regional level and relationship building with stakeholders Main Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate and implementation of EI activities in the program area in line with the YPO covering aspects outcomes, outputs of project aligned with the donor objectives. Support district and area team on effective and on time implementation of specific plan of approved YPO. Field visits and receiving feedbacks from program beneficiaries and stakeholders, and address technical and operational issues during implementing of activities. Support and coordinate projects activities in the field with district and area team for implementation to reduce duplication and overlaps between projects/grants. Update EI management regularly on the status of program implementation, identifying areas of concern, recommending corrective measures in areas of underperformance, as appropriate and provide support in agreed action implementation. Ensure reporting requirement to the donor and EI management are met in a consistent manner. Reporting to the EI Manager in all his activities. Provide periodic reports to the regional program office. Coordinate collection of baseline information and data for the activities related to EI at regional and area levels from targeted beneficiaries. Support the sector management in liaising and maintaining good relationship with AKF partners including women business associations, government agencies other donor program, supporting agencies etc. operating in the program area. Explore enterprise opportunities that contribute to the creation of employment and income for the people at the target areas. Promote networking for collaboration and inter-grouping of the sector, intra-regional and regional BMO/ACCI, able to provide services that association and groups need Comply with AKF policies and practice with respect to child protection, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures. Occasional Significant Duties: Travel to the Program areas to meet with Enterprise/EI teams Contributions and presentations to workshops Travel regions for program purposes Any other tasks relevant to the core responsibilities and duties of this position as assigned by the supervisor Decision-Making & Authorities: To perform activities related to women in IEG as delegated by the Regional Manager, IEG.
