Job Description: ICT officer monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of the relevant Provincial / Field Offices. They may install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware/software faults and solve technical and applications problems, either over the phone or in person. Installation and updating of Standard DACAAR software and hardware. Troubleshooting and maintenance of Computers on daily basis. Focus on analyzing problems, finding and delivering permanent solutions to problems occurring on regular basis. Provide report/manual on troubleshooting most common network/computer related problems. Provide regular weekly report on all activities done during the past week to the Provincial Manager. To provide the Provincial Manager with an updated list of daily complains. Circulate the users’ daily problems and reporting back to Provincial Manager. Analyze DACAAR network and recommend optimal solutions for any new Problem. Travels to the relevant field offices regularly. Keeps regular contact with Field staff requiring ICT support & help disk. Filling the ICT item damage report, hand over, taking the repairable ICT items to workshop. Regular communications with the ICT Unit Head in Main Office regarding IT matters. Report detailed system notifications and events in a timely manner to the Provincial Manager / ICT Head. Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
